Costa Brava special places: Begur
Begur is one of the most interesting cities of the Costa Brava, because his history and natural environment, which they do of this city an indispensable visit for those who visit the region. With big facilities to find an apartment or a flat for rent in Barcelona (near Begur), his spectacular calas (small beaches surrounded with rock and vegetation) as Aiguafreda (cool water closet in Catalàn), Fornells, L'Illa Roja (Red island) and Sa Tuna are really spectacular, with the famous crystalline waters that are a sign of identity of the whole Costa Brava.

The striking silhouette of the medieval castle overlooking the town, its numerous colonial-style houses, the layout and profile of the streets and alleys of the old town and the old fishermen's huts still conserved in the coves testify to a long and intense history in which pirates, sailors, coral gatherers, fishermen, wealthy emigrants returning from overseas and entire generations of Begur townspeople have populated these lands which, despite all the inevitable transformations, have lost not a trace of their roots or identity with the passing of time.
